AstroHubs are a crucial component of the AstroChain ecosystem, designed to enable the capturing of astronomical events. AstroHubs are a tool for people interested in observing the skies for stars, meteors, satellites, weather phenomena, UAPs or anything else that happens in our atmosphere.
These high-tech solar powered devices are equipped with sensitive equipment that includes fisheye cameras, pan-tilt focus, temperature gauges, and much more. These tools work together to scan the sky and capture anomalies, which are then recorded and stored. An AstroHub is housed in durable casings that protect the sensitive equipment from all weather conditions, ensuring that the devices can operate in any environment. The high-resolution video data produced by the AstroHubs is of a high quality, making it ideal for use in scientific research, as well as for enthusiasts who are interested in astronomical events.
The AstroHubs are powered by renewable solar energy, making them a sustainable and eco-friendly solution for sky scanning and anomaly detection. By utilising solar power, the AstroHubs contribute to reducing carbon emissions and align with the mission of achieving net zero carbon footprint. This not only benefits the environment, but also showcases the company's commitment to sustainability and responsible use of resources.
To use an AstroHub, users can book a time slot through the AstroChain dApp, which also serves as the booking tool and the platform for minting NFTs. During the booking period, the AstroHub scans the sky and captures the anomalies in its line of sight. The captured content and data is then minted into unique NFTs for the user.
With 100 AstroHubs planned for deployment in 6 locations over the next 3 years, the AstroChain platform offers a unique and convenient way for users to capture and own unique astronomical events. Additionally, the platform is considering a secondary program that will allow users to stake their ATC NFTs against an AstroHub, participating in a revenue-sharing model.
